Best Ever Banana Bread

Davey has recently discovered a new love for "ananas", mostly due to his latest obsession with the movie TOBY TYLER which involves a Monkey taking a banana right from the hands of Toby himself. Lucky for Davey, at my new job I am able to bring home several bunches of bananas every night for free! Davey and I made several loaves of Banana bread this morning and I thought I'd share the recipe with you! Of course, if you're not up for making it yourself or just need a few bananas, stop by...there's a good chance we have some here that we'd be happy to share!

In a medium sized bowl mix together:
Flour, Sugar, Baking Soda and Salt .
Set aside.

Mash the bananas really good

In another bowl mix together:
Eggs, Bananas, oil, buttermilk and vanilla.
Add to flour mixture.

stir it up and be careful NOT to fling it out of the bowl like Davey does :)

Finally, pour mixture into a greased bread loaf pan.

YUMMY!!!
Best Ever Banana Bread- preheat oven to 325 degrees.
1 3/4 c. Flour
1 1/2 c. Sugar
1 Tsp. Baking soda
1/2 Tsp. Salt
2 eggs
1c. Ripe Bananas (2-3)
1/2 c. oil
1/4 c. +1 Tbsp buttermilk
1 tsp Vanilla
1 c. walnuts (optional)

Bake at 325 for 65-70 min. or until done.
*note- I have found that working with room temperature ingredients works best for baking.
Also, be sure to wrap the bread in plastic wrap after it's cooled. Even if the outside feels a little hard after it's cooked the plastic will keep it moist.
I like to make bread at night, wrap it overnight and it's perfect for breakfast! Enjoy :)
